March 22nd 1987 75 years old today. Had a very happy day with my super family. Mu rang early. Win rang last night. Judy & Marcus came just after 11 am & we went to the Garden Centre. Judith bought me a weeping willow, camarelia [?] sumach, garden fertilizer, Marcus heather & lavender (out of his very own money)!! I bought a camellia. Tess bought me Virginia creeper & Simon a Witches broom — it must mean something — Bless them all. I get so much pleasure watching these plants grow. Later we all went out to lunch at Long Buckby "Lion" — super. Afterwards back to Judy's where she dug up for me a [illegible] & Bleeding Heart. Tess & Simon are coming at week-end to put the trees in. After I got home John rang & I spoke to Jimmy & Rosie. I think I'm a very lucky Mum & Granny. I am very content & happy sitting here thinking over the day & all it means to me. Bless them all!!
