Now she is a lovely young woman, no less loved of course but grannies miss the little children they so loved & wanted to protect, but all little ones grow up & want to stand on their own feet & that's the way it has to be. Your Mummy & Daddy spoke to me on the phone & I received some lovely flowers from them so I really did have a lovely birthday. Your Cousin Marcus is a fine young man & you will be seeing him in the summer.
March 31st 1993 Today I received a most beautiful portrait of you, everyone agreed you are the most beautiful baby with your sweet dimpled face & mischievous smile. I am only sad I cannot cuddle you & hold you & wonder when that will be. I love you so much.
