Be good, sweet maid,
& let who will be clever.
Do noble things, not dream them all day long
And may life, that vast for ever,
Be one grand sweet song.

You will see vast changes in the coming years, as I have since I was a little girl. I was born in 1912 the eleventh child of a poor but respectable & very loving family. There were no cars no radio or television
Medical science was in its infancy No antibiotics or heart surgery & organ replacements The class system very much defined, the poor worked for the rich & in many cases, were very badly treated & no way did they mix socially Education was in part, denied them but I'm sure you will learn all about these things during your education, through your parents & books,
